This before and after combination gives you the best view of the transformation at the back of the house. There was no consistency with the previous additions making the back of the house very chaotic.

The new additions and alterations gave us the chance to unify the roofs of the house. The four gables now have similar roofs angles and soffit treatment and create a cohesive aesthetic while still allowing the feeling of additions being added over time. This informality was playfully accentuated with the horizontal windows and swooping roof of the new laundry room between the new garage and deck. The deck itself nestles comfortably into the corner of the building.
