The dramatic light from the clerestory spills down the stair to the second floor hall where artificial light is rarely used. The last few stair treads are turned in the direction of the kids bedrooms so they can have a hallway hang-out. The room beyond the hall is the Study/Guest Room with exposure to the preserve.
