"BEFORE & AFTER"
Brick Colonial House
The library, family room, as well as the entire attic and basement of this brick, colonial home are completely renovated or re-built. The library has custom mahogany paneling and cabinetry as well as a new, higher ceiling. The family room has painted wood paneling and extensive exposure to the rear yard with windows specifically designed to accommodate the homeowner's collection of stained glass. The attic, which housed the original maids' quarters, is transformed into a paneled office with a new Palladian window as well as a guestroom with new bathroom located within one of the rear dormers. The basement is totally refinished with a new family entertainment area, powder room and exercise room. New dormers on the front roof have classic Georgian detailing that add a finishing touch to this extensive renovation.
